Why should we choose Dan Chan
the Magic Man and Kat the Acrobat for our event?
Daniel is a graduate of the San Francisco Circus Center and the Chavez Course in
magic. He has also been selected as Best of 2004 in Bay Area Parent Magazine and
2007 San Jose's Magician of the Year. Dan has had the honor of performing for
the cast of Circus Circus Reno, Cirque Du Soleil, and Circus Chimera. By selecting performers committed to excellence, you can be certain to get an outstanding show.
Dan and Kat continue to invest much time, money and sweat into perfecting what
they do. They travel to many magic, juggling and performing arts conferences
several times a year to keep up with the latest developments around the world.
To survive in this competitive market, they continue to raise the standard for high quality and
being innovative. If what they do is easier everyone else would be doing it.
What equipment do I need to furnish?
Besides an audience, they requires an electrical outlet to power the sound-system. If you are
providing a sound system a CD player or one 1/4 inch input and one XLR
input to plug in the Ipod and microphone. For larger events, they can provide a
backdrop, headset microphone and sound system. Reserved parking is greatly
appreciated. Some client have been creative and create signs saying,
"Reserved for Dan Chan the Magic Man, Your car will disappear if you park here."
Please notify Dan if there are cats present because he is allergic to them.
You two really have a special talent! How did you develop
it?
Initially, Dan started his performing career as a solo
performer. But when he met Katherine, he fell in love. He did the standard pick
a card trick and asked Kat to sign her name on the card (with phone number, of
course!). As a child, Kat enjoyed watching magic specials on television (Lance
Burton and Penn and Teller). Along with her brother teaching her the basics of
juggling, the seed for greatness was planted. The rest is history. As Dan like
to say, "I tricked her into it." Hopefully in a few years they'll have a full
"family show" featuring the Dan Chan Performing Clan.
My company is interested in sponsoring a show. How do I go about doing this?
Daniel is always open to talk with companies who would like to sponsor
performances in the local community. Benefits of sponsoring a show
include a formal acknowledgement of your company, family or organization before
and advertising in posters and programs. For more information regarding
sponsoring a show please contact Dan today.

Success is a relative term. First, we trust in God as our sole source of strength
and provision. Second, we are enthusiastic and passionate about what we do. Third,
we also
set many goals. Everyday we take many small steps to achieving the goals we set.
Fourth, we train constantly.
